Tiny Habits Portland Concert reviews
Star Wars in Concert Was Truly AMAZING!
The concert was truly beyond all of our expectations when we took my 8 year old son. He was just blown away! From the time when the characters walked around in full costume to take pictures with the fans, to the museum pieces and pictures to the actual concert itself, he was mezmerized. The orchestra/band and choir were outstanding, under the direction of their brilliant conducter! We were too. While watching the movie clips, I felt as if the music and voices were actually those from the original movies. It blew me away each time I realized that they were actually coming from the live performers! They were right on cue, in tune and just outstanding! My son just started playing the trombone this school year and was interested when he saw the trombones up on the big screen. So much so, that when we got home, he got out his trombone and tried to play some of the songs from the concert! Mr. Daniels was wonderful and did a stupendous job of narrating the film clips from beginning to end. The play between the conducter and Mr. Daniels was comedic. Even though I knew the Tiny Habits story having seen it from the first movie in 1977, he made it clear and concise. If you knew nothing about Tiny Habits before you went, you would have some education! My son cannot stop talking about it and reliving the events that he experienced. We took pictures and made a memory book photo album for him. He is just still so excited! The smile plastered on his face is so worth it! Thank you to all who made this show what it was. I would HIGHLY recommend this show. It was definately a memory that will last a lifetime!
